Swarovski Unveils Smart Binoculars That Recognize Birds

Swarovski [debuts its first smart binoculars](https://www.engadget.com/swarovskis-smart-binoculars-identify-the-birds-youre-looking-at-173151637.html?src=rss) at CES 2024, featuring bird identification technology. Users simply focus on a bird, press a button, and the binoculars identify the species using the Merlin Bird ID database, covering over 9,000 species. Additional features include a Wildlife ID for mammals, dragonflies, and butterflies, a camera for sharing images and videos, and future expandability for custom databases. With a discovery sharing feature and high-quality optics offering 10x magnification, these binoculars are priced at around $5,000 and are set to be available in February.
