What International Students Added to UK Economy

New research shows [a significant economic impact]( of international students on the UK economy. Between 2018/19 and 2021/22, their contribution rose from £31.3bn to £41.9bn. Major contributions came from students in Glasgow, London, Sheffield, Nottingham, and Newcastle, averaging £58m per constituency. The study highlights the increasing number of non-EU students, with every 11 contributing £1m in net economic impact. London hosted the largest group, with 98,825 students.
