Napoleon Bonaparte's Famous Hat Sold for €1.9m at Paris Auction

A bicorne black beaver felt hat associated with Napoleon Bonaparte, which he donned during his rule of France in the 19th Century, fetched a sum of €1.9m at a Paris auction. Initially estimated between €600,000 and €800,000, the hat was part of his iconic style, making him easily recognisable in battles. Known to have owned about 120 such hats, only 20 are estimated to remain, mostly within private collections. [Source](https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-67465802)
