Drought in Zimbabwe Kills 100 Elephants in National Park

In Zimbabwe's Hwange National Park, [at least 100 elephants](https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/at-least-100-elephants-die-as-drought-hits-zimbabwe-s-largest-national-park/ar-AA1lL3DZ?ocid=hpmsn&cvid=6ebd7e7fcbcb4532a238791bbd5d5f7d&ei=14) have perished due to drought-induced water scarcity. The park houses about 45,000 elephants but is struggling with inadequate water sources despite having 104 solar-powered boreholes. Young, elderly, and sick elephants are the hardest hit, and the wildlife is forced to traverse longer distances in extreme temperatures for sustenance.
